About Me and This
THIS
Trafficker in Climaxes is a term I got off Slaughterhouse-five, a book by Kurt Vonnegut Jr., one of my favorite writers. The whole thing is written like this:
“As a trafficker in climaxes and thrills and characterization and wonderful dialogue and suspense and confrontations, I had outlined the Dresden story many times.”
- Kurt Vonnegut, Slaughterhouse-Five, Chapter 1
ME
My name is Darliza. I’m the owner of this mess and the URL is named after me, a reasonable move considering I spent a few weeks worth of allowance for the domain name and the hosting. heh. I’m a freelance writer and have been writing commercially for about three years now. I am also studying to be a software engineer, software developer, or any job that is bounded by the software development life cycle. I’ve been in UP (Visayas Cebu College) for almost a decade; I love it there but I can’t wait to get my arse off that frakking place.
A few of the things I’ve been liking for more than a year (I excluded random things I get obsessed with for some time then forget altogether):
The Beatles, Queen, books, movies, Wes Anderson, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Amelie, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Alice in Wonderland, programming, PHP, MySQL, databases, oatmeal cookies, tea, Earl Grey tea, peppermint tea, Caffè macchiato, Chinese food, food food food, John Cusack, Britons, cheesy guitar solos, travelling, Arrested Development, Judd Apatow, Futurama, Freaks and Geeks, TV shows, cancelled TV shows, pretty girls, smart men, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
I am slightly ubiquitous on the innernette. You can find me here:

I’m a freelance writer and editor and I also code programs for a living. If you need help, just drop me an e-mail through hello@darliza.com. My services are cheap. I also read greetings, personal messages, requests, queries and hate mail. :)
